‘The Jet Set – Gripen’
The Saab/Gripen team was delighted to host a visit by top Indian TV journalist Vishnu Som, from New Delhi Television (NDTV), who was making a new TV series for Indian TV called ‘The Jet Set’. In this episode, Vishnu gets to “kick the tyres and light the fires of the Gripen” and the resulting programme is an excellent independent view of the Gripen new generation fighter and the team behind it. We are very grateful to NDTV who have kindly given their permission for us to run Vishnu Som’s programme on our website. Running time 18.24

Gripen Air Display
Also to coincide with the Farnborough Air Show, Gripen display pilot Fredrik Müchler and the Gripen team have got together to produce a spectacular new video, demonstrating the incredible aerobatic performance of the Gripen new generation fighter during a Fredrik Müchler air display. 100,000 flying hours
To mark the achievement of the Gripen fleet's 100,000th flying hour, we have produced a short video featuring highlights of the historic flight, including the first sight of South Africa's second Gripen fighter (SA02), a hot re-fuelling short turn around demonstration and interviews with the pilots.

The Future has Arrived - Gripen in South Africa
Ahead of Africa Aerospace & Defence (AAD) 2006, and to celebrate the arrival of South Africa’s first Gripen new generation fighter, we have produced a brand new video featuring air-to-air footage of Gripen (SA01) flying in and around the Southern Cape, South Africa in August 2006. Filmed by renowned South African aviation photographer Frans Dely, and with a specially composed soundtrack by South African composer Ron Brettel, of Mathambo Music, this new video provides a glimpse of what young future South African pilots can look forward to with the arrival of Gripen.
