Saab guarantees industrial partnerships and jobs. Saab has offered a comprehensive partnership arrangement with Swiss industry and various research and technological institutions. If Switzerland decides to buy Gripen, Saab guarantees business worth at least CHF 2.2 billion - the value of the purchase contract for the fighters.

Within the Industrial Partnership Programme, Saab has also identified additional projects that should lead to substantial business worth several billion Swiss francs.
Saab's partnership programme exceeds all of armasuisse's requirements. It could help to ensure that more than 300 companies in all Cantons can secure and create jobs. In addition to the defence, aeronautics and aerospace industries, companies in numerous other industrial sectors will benefit too.
Long term Industrial Partnership
Saab has maintained close links with Swiss industrial companies for many years. It has also been very successful at implementing its cooperation agreements in different countries. In Hungary, for example, commitments to provide compensation business were fulfilled more than seven years ahead of schedule and today it is still growing.
